Athletic Bilbao have agreed contract extensions with Ander Iturraspe, Jonas Ramalho and Enric Saborit.
Defensive midfielder Iturraspe has been involved in every game of the 2012-13 campaign so far, and has featured over 80 times for Marcelo Bielsa’s side after graduating from the club’s famous Lezama youth system.
The new deal will keep the 23-year-old at Bilbao until the 30th June 2017 with a substantial buy-out clause of €40 million also included in the new contract.
Also extending his stay at the San Mamés is right-back Ramalho, another product of the club’s youth system, who has featured four times for Bilbao under Bielsa as well as making 11 appearances for the Spanish Under-19 side.
The 19-year-old, who was the first mixed-race player to play for Athletic in an official competition, will now remain at Bilbao until the summer of 2015 with the new contract featuring a €25 million buy-out clause.
Completing a trio of deals is left-back Saborit who is currently playing for Bilbao’s B team in the Segunda Division.
The Barcelona-born 20-year-old has featured 16 times for Bilbao Athletic this season scoring once and providing two assists.
Saborit’s new deal will see him stay with Los Leones until June 2016 with an identical buy-out clause to that of Ramalho.
