The 2013 Orange African Cup of Nations kicks off on January 19th in South Africa. A good handful of African stars ply their trade in La Liga Michael Essien of course being the best known, currently on loan from Chelsea to Real Madrid.

The official match ball for the event has already been unveiled its called the ‘Katlego’ and after the fuss over the 2010 FIFA World Cup ball the ‘Jabulani’ designers adidas appear to have released the ‘Katlego’ early so that players get a chance to practice with the ball way before the event takes place.
